BATH — Lewiston jumped out to 12-4 first-quarter lead and pulled away for a 49-34 high school jayvee girls basketball win over Morse on Friday at Bath Middle School.
The Blue Devils led 26-12 at the half and 38-22 through three quarters.
Laila Bunnit paced the win with 14 points, with Jordyn Rubin adding 10.
Marija Medenica led Morse with a game-high 16 points, with Dory Kulis and Paige Faulkingham splitting 18 points down the middle.
At the free-throw line, the Shipbuilders were 6-of-21 and the Blue Devils 14-of-24.
Morse is 3-10 and visits Erskine Academy tonight.
