While her responsibilities of running the day-to-day operations of the ReStore are new, she knows Habitat very well. Ober has been with the affiliate in various capacities for more than 10 years, first as a volunteer and AmeriCorps volunteer coordinator, and then as a member of the Habitat staff team serving as volunteer coordinator, and supporting family services and the weatherizing and repair program.
“I’ve been in customer service for over 30 years. I look forward to working closely with ReStore donors, shoppers and volunteers,” Ober said.
Open to the public, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, ReStore is located in Topsham at 126 Main St. The store telephone number is (207) 504-9340.
