Tuesday’s snowstorm caused the rescheduling of several high school contests for today.
The regular season for high school basketball ends this week, and today is a busy day on the courts. The Valley boys and girls visit Richmond, with the girls at 5:30 p.m. and the boys at 7 p.m.
Games that were moved from Tuesday to today include the Lisbon boys visiting Monmouth (7 p.m.), the Brunswick boys at Lewiston (7 p.m.), the Brunswick girls hosting Lewiston (6:30 p.m.), the Morse boys hosting Waterville (6:30 p.m.), the Shipbuilder girls at Waterville (6:30 p.m.), the Freeport boys at Gray-New Gloucester (7 p.m.), the Freeport girls home to Gray-New Gloucester (7 p.m.) and the Wiscasset boys entertaining
Boothbay (7 p.m.).
In hockey action tonight, the girls postseason begins, with the fifth-seeded Brunswick girls at No. 4 Winslow/Gardiner at 6:10 p.m., and the sixth-seeded Yarmouth/ Freeport/Gray- New Gloucester Clippers in Auburn to take on No. 3 Edward Little/Leavitt/ Poland at 6:30 p.m.
