TOPSHAM — Firefighters put out what was left of a small shed fire on Murder Road early Tuesday.
Topsham Fire Chief Brian Stockdale said the fire at 144 Murder Road was reported by the homeowner, Brad Hoskins, at 2:34 a.m.
A 6-foot-by-8-foot generator shed was on fire, but was nearly out when firefighters arrived, in part due to the rain.
The department remained on scene for about 30 minutes to ensure the fire was out. Stockdale said the fire did not spread to other buildings. No one was injured.
