SOUTH PORTLAND — The Western Maine Conference has scheduled its Basketball Awards Night for Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Maine Community College gymnasium.
Guest speaker is Ashley Marble, a former Woodland High School and University of Southern Maine standout, and a Miss Maine in 2011.
Robert E. Butler Award finalists include Dylan Stevens of Wells, Aaron Todd of York, Emily Campbell of York, Sydney Hancock of Lake Region and Martha Veroneau of Waynflete.
Picked to the Senior All-Star game (Tuesday at CMCC) were Leigh Wyman and Aubrey Pennell of Freeport.
Freeport’s Nina Davenport was selected to the Girls Class B All-Conference First Team.
Named to the WMC All-Academic (93 average through seven semesters) were Daniel Burke and Connor Dietrich of Freeport for the boys and Jocelyn Davee of Freeport for the girls.
