BRUNSWICK — The Central Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires will be holding a rules clinics for anyone interested in becoming a certified umpire.

The CMBABU covers Sagadahoc, Androscoggin, Oxford, Franklin, and parts of Cumberland counties. Levels of play include high school, junior high school, American Legion, Babe Ruth, Senior Baseball (men’s league) and Cal Ripken.

The clinics will be held at Lewiston High School beginning on Sunday at 5 p.m. in room B109. The sessions will be held every two weeks and last two hours. Rules books and case books will be made available as part of the $25 class fee.

Veteran umpires are encouraged to attend as well to brush up on the rules.
