In naming Burns as its choice for 2013, Mainebiz noted that CMP is a seven-time leader in customer satisfaction as ranked by J.D. Power & Associates, and a recipient of national recognition from the Edison Electric Institute for leadership in storm recovery.

Mainebiz named three executives representing large businesses, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations from more than 75 of the state’s most exemplary leaders nominated for the award. Mainebiz is a multi-media company providing business news, information and analysis for Maine, and a subsidiary of New England Business Media.
