FREEPORT — Open auditions for Freeport Players “The 39 Steps,” Patrick Barlow’s fast-paced, comedic adaptation of the Alfred Hitchcock classic will take place Sunday, April 7, and Monday, April 8, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Freeport High School cafeteria, 30 Holbrook St.
Roles for three men and one woman are available. Performances are July 18 to Aug. 4 at Freeport Performing Arts Center. The show will be directed by Dan Burson. Actors will be asked to cold read dialogue from the play.
