TOPSHAM — The Edith Jones Project’s annual “Swing into the Holidays” concert returns at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15 at The Orion Performing Arts Center next to Mt. Ararat Middle School.
The Edith Jones Project, Maine’s 17-piece all-women big band, was established in 2003 by Alison Jones. Members are musicians and music educators in Maine schools, including Bowdoin College and elsewhere.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s concert will go to the Mt. Ararat Music Department. The Mt. Ararat Jazz Ensemble will also perform a few songs.
Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for seniors, $10 for the public. To purchase tickets, go to Music n Moore near Wal- Mart in Brunswick, or call 838-0700.
