BATH — Resounding Rhythms Studio will host a West African drumming workshop with Sayon Camara Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27.
According to a news release, Camara is “warm, generous with his knowledge and one of the most gentle and kind West African drumming masters around. He is patient and easily works with all levels of students in the same workshop. The sound of his tone, slap and bass is pure West Africa and his solos are tasty and melodic.”
Workshop I will be held Friday, April 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Resounding Rhythms Studio at Winnegance Ledge, 51 High St. The cost is $35.
Workshop II will follow on Saturday, April 27, from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $90.
A package deal for both worshops is $110; $15 off.
