PHIPPSBURG — Patricia “Pat” Percy passed away on May 1, 2015, following a short illness.

She was born on May 8, 1934, in Boston and grew up in Marblehead, MA. She attended Kents Hill School and Rollins College in Florida.

Pat married Delbert “ Jack” Percy on Nov. 15, 1953. Together they raised their family in both Marblehead, MA and Popham Beach, Maine.

Pat took great pride in the Popham Beach community. She especially loved the fishing community and served as the president of the Maine Fisherman’s Wives Association.

She was an extremely active member of the Maine Republican Party throughout her life. She served as chairwoman of the Sagadahoc County Republicans.

Pat was predeceased by her “sweetheart” Delbert Percy and her son, Charles.

She is survived by her sister Constance Hubbard of Boston and Marblehead; her son Jackson and his wife Meg of Phippsburg, ME; son Douglas and his wife Kristen of Marblehead, MA; and son Carlton of Phippsburg, ME. She also leaves her seven grandchildren, Hope, Hanna, and Leila Percy, Alexandra Modliszewski and her husband Rich, Kathryn Rose and Georg Percy, and Jake Percy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life in Pat’s honor will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Small Point Baptist Church in Phippsburg, Maine.
