PHIPPSBURG — The Phippsburg Historical Society will hold its annual Victorian Christmas Open House and Cookie Walk from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 24 Parker Head Road.

The museum will be decorated for the holiday season, and volunteers will be in period costume.

Homemade cookies will be available for $5 per bag. Also on sale will be historical books, DVDs, old postcards, crafts and gift items.

Exhibits include photos of the town’s former schoolhouses, a Victorian parlor, Malaga Island, an old post office, old quilts, weaving loom, and many historical items on display.

The main building of the museum is an 1852 one-room schoolhouse where Phippsburg children were taught until 1958.
