
The museum will be decorated for the holiday season, and volunteers will be in period costume.
Homemade cookies will be available for $5 per bag. Also on sale will be historical books, DVDs, old postcards, crafts and gift items.
Exhibits include photos of the town’s former schoolhouses, a Victorian parlor, Malaga Island, an old post office, old quilts, weaving loom, and many historical items on display.
The main building of the museum is an 1852 one-room schoolhouse where Phippsburg children were taught until 1958.
The museum added two additions, one in the 1980s and the newest in 2008.
