WEST BATH
Rescue crews from Bath and West Bath responded Tuesday morning to a twovehicle crash on State Road in West Bath.
Sagadahoc County Chief Deputy Brett Strout said the crash, reported at 9:19 a.m., occurred on State Road near Bill’s Garage. John Szczepanski, 55, of P.O. 694, Bath, was driving a 1993 Chevrolet fourdoor car and was making a left turn into his place of business when a station wagon driven by Dennis Baker, 58, of P. O. Box 307, Woolwich, allegedly struck his vehicle.
Baker failed to see Szczepanski making the turn, according to Deputy Matt Sharpe, who handled the crash.
Strout said Bath Rescue and Fire Department and West Bath EMS responded. Sharpe did not find evidence of serious injury, but information on the drivers’ conditions was not available at press time.
