BATH — Boden Gould tied the game
with a double and Jacob Mowry drove in the winning run as Sharon Drake Real Estate edged Smith-Tobey in walkoff action, 4-3 recently in Bath Cal Ripken major baseball play.
Smith-Tobey pitcher Josiah Yeaton was outstanding, picking up 12 strikeouts.
Sharon Drake picked up 10 hits, led by Brenton Cahill and Brogan Shaw with two singled each. Gabe Aucoin, Nathaniel Jewett, Dylan Melvin and Ethan Reno added a single each. Cahill, Shaw and Aucoin combined on the mound for 14 strikeouts and five hits.
Yeaton had two of Smith-Tobey’s hits, with Jansen Morrison, Sawyer Stead and Ty Knowlton each adding a base-knock.
