BRUNSWICK — Matthew Keith Dalen, son of Ruth and Keith Dalen of Ridgefield, Conn., married Bridget Mary Lake, daughter of Rose Ann Lake of Topsham and the late Robert Lake, on Oct. 1, 2011.

The couple married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brunswick, exactly 45 years after the bride’s parents were married in the same church. A reception followed at Sebasco Harbor Resort in Phippsburg.

The service was officiated by the Rev. James Mayzik, S. J., and the Rev. Mark Scalese, S.J., both faculty at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.

Thomas Sarachan was the best man, Marie Camden was the maid of honor, and sister of the bride Jennifer Waselchuck was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Dalen, sister of the groom, and Lauren Picart, Elissa Rizzo, Sally Bibber and Tina Burnell. Groomsmen were Jeremy Dalen, brother of the groom, and Robert Cannon, Scott Selikoff and Matthew Kusulas. James Rizzo was the ring bearer.

The groom grew up in Katonah, N.Y., and graduated in 1999 from John Jay High School in Cross River, N.Y. He attended Cornell University in Ithaca, N. Y., earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2003. He is the assistant editor of the New Canaan Advertiser in New Canaan, Conn.

The bride grew up in Topsham and graduated in 2000 from Catherine Mcauley High School in Portland. She attended Fairfield University, earning a bachelor’s degree in history in 2004, and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Calif., earning a master of fine arts degree in television production in 2007. She is employed as a staff member in Fairfield University’s media center and an adjunct professor in the university’s new media, film, television and radio department.

The couple, who honeymooned in Greece, lives in Norwalk, Conn.
