The Selectboard will conduct a special meeting Monday at the Town Office, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Meetings with Mike Jenkins of USDA Rural Development and with representatives of Northeast Mobile Health Services together with the town’s EMS officials are on the agenda. The board also will discuss year-end accounts.
Town Administrator and Treasurer Lynette Eastman said the USDA could be a source of low-interest financing for an addition to the Municipal Building.
Regarding Northeast Mobile Health Services, Eastman said, the company’s three-year ambulance contract with the town ends June 30. Northeast Mobile made a contract offer earlier this year but town EMS officials wanted to review it for coverage details, she said.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
