Lester, daughter of Carroll and Traci Plummer of Georgetown, and Randy Lester of Boothbay, is a 2011 graduate of Boothbay Region High School and a 2012 graduate of the Maine Medical Center School of Surgical Technology.
She works as a certified surgical technologist at Mid Coast Hospital.
Preble, son of Clarence Jr. and Judy Preble of Georgetown, graduated from high school in 2006, attended USM for two years for business, and is a self-employed fisherman.
Their wedding is planned for July 13, 2013, in Boothbay.
