FAIRFIELD — Local students attaining the honor of Spring 2013 Dean’s List at Kennebec Valley Community College — achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying nine credit hours or more for the semester — are Brianna C. Ellis of Bowdoinham, Christine M. Brimlow of Brunswick, Vivian Curren of Brunswick, Keegan M. O’Neal of Brunswick and Christina E. Driscoll of Topsham.

GRINNELL, Iowa — Ellen Pinnette has been named to the Grinnell College Dean’s List for the spring semester 2013. To make the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or above. Pinnette, who is the daughter of Ann M. Pinnette of Bath and Jeffrey R. Pinnette of Topsham.

BATH — Hyde School students honored for their achievements include senior Tia Bauer of Bath, daughter of Ms. Susan Bauer, who received the Senior Academic Award for Excellence in English; junior Carolyn Moore of Harpswell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Moore, who received the Phi Beta Kappa Award and Underclassman Academic Award for Excellence in English; and sophomore Kiefer Cundy of Phippsburg, son of Ms. Margot S. Kovach, who received the Underclassmen Academic Award for Excellence in Mathematics.

NEWTON, Mass. — Chelsea Mitchell-Smith of Brunswick earned Dean’s List status for the spring semester at Lasell College. A member of the class of 2013, Mitchell- Smith majored in fashion and retail merchandising.
