
ACEC is the voice of America’s engineering industry and serves as an advocacy and education organization for the engineering profession. ACEC is a federation of 51 state and regional councils whose members include more than 5,000 firms representing more than 500,000 employees from across the country. ACEC firms employ engineers, architects, land surveyors, scientists and other specialists, responsible for more than $200 billion of private and public works annually.
In his role as committee chairman, Nelson will assist ACEC staff in communicating with members and in identifying and advocating key tax, financial and regulatory issues that impact the engineering industry.
Nelson has been with Wright-Pierce since 1995 and has served as chief financial officer since 2002.
