To the Editor:
We have a truly wonderful evening of music coming up Monday at the Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick, when Suzanne Nance performs opera and Broadway favorites along with several other world-class performers.
I had the great pleasure to hear and see Suzanne perform in 2011 and have been raving about it ever since. Suzanne has that special quality of light and joy in her performance which flows out to the audience in “waves” of enthusiasm that make the listener experience her love of music and singing. At a recent concert, Suzanne said she knew she would become a singer at an early age when she heard “Ave Maria” sung at her church.
Many people have remarked you can “hear” Suzanne smiling when she speaks. We will sorely miss her when she moves to a new broadcasting position.
Don’t miss what will be a memorable evening of music that will make you smile long after the concert is over.
