ALTOONA, Pa.
Luke Tendler hit a three home run in the top of the 10th inning to lead the Portland Sea Dogs to a 12-9 win over the Altoona Curve on Thursday.
The home run by Tendler scored Jantzen Witte and Josh Ockimey.
Altoona loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th, but Jordan George flew out to end the game.
The Sea Dogs scored four runs in the ninth before Altoona answered in the bottom of the inning when Logan Hill hit a two-run double to tie the game 9-9.
Tendler homered and singled twice, driving home three runs and scoring a couple in the win. Danny Mars singled twice, driving in two runs.
Trevor Kelley (1-2) got the win in relief while Geoff Hartlieb (4-2) took the loss in the Eastern League game.
Several Curve chipped in at the plate, as five players picked up at least a pair of hits. George doubled and singled twice, scoring two runs.
