Tycz of Brunswick won the 50-meter butterfly in 27.82, a team and state record, finished second in the 100 butterfly, swam personal best times in both the 100 and 50 freestyles, and helped to set three state and team records in relays. Samson, also of Brunswick, won the 50 backstroke in 27.00, claimed seventh in the 100 back, took 15th in the 50 breaststroke and 20th in the 50 free. Samson also swam in three relays, including a meet best 25.11 butterfly split in the 200 medley relay.
