ON AUG. 6, the Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub in Topsham celebrated its grand re-opening after undergoing a revitalization of the restaurant’s décor and amenities. Prior to closing for renovations, the restaurant held a silent auction for the plaques and memorabilia that decorated the Ninety Nine’s walls. The Ninety Nine’s celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a donation to Mt. Ararat High School’s Booster Club and offering prizes for guests as they enjoyed live music and appetizer sampling. The restaurant was “refreshed” with modern amenities to keep up with the ever-changing tastes of the guests while maintaining its reputation as the place where locals can enjoy a menu that provides classic All- American food and drinks served in a distinctively hearty New England style. In the photo are, from left, Buffie Breed, president of Mt. Ararat High School Booster Club; Donna Brunette, principal at Mt. Ararat High School; Paul Bandouveres, general managing partner, Topsham Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub; and Todd Sampson, athletic director at Mt. Ararat.
