
He was born on October 30, 1949, in Lewiston, the son of Herbert and Hazel Sawyer.
Bill worked as a designer for B.I.W. for over 31 years. He enjoyed the outdoors particularly hunting and fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Beverly Sawyer of Bowdoin, daughter Lisa Card and husband Wendall of Bowdoin, son William E. Sawyer Jr. And companion Wanda and her daughter Ruby, sister Carol Ridley and husband Eugene of Greene, grandchildren Wyatt, Amber, Emily, sister in-law Elaine Gowell and brother-in-law
Ralph Skelton and wife Patricia.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, the 24th at 3 p.m. at the West Bowdoin Cemetery, Bowdoin.
