DURHAM — Carleton D. Morrison, 65, of Durham, passed away at home on Sunday June 24, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Portland, Maine, on March 13, 1953, a son of the late George and Christine (Clark) Morrison.

He lived his entire life in the Southern and Central part of Maine and attended school in Yarmouth. He was married to Julianne Ruff to this day. Carleton was a member of the Pownal Fire Department and the Durham Amvets.

He worked at Dingley Press for many years and then drove over the road for H. O Wolding for 10-plus years. He loved to hunt and fish and was quick with a hug and to say that “things will work out.”

Carleton is survived by his wife: Julianne Ruff Morrison, two sisters: Patricia Piela of Auburn, Kelly Morrison of New Gloucester, two brothers: Dennis Morrison of Florida, Danny Morrison of Yarmouth and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Family graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 7 at noon at The Burr Cemetery in Freeport, Me., followed by a celebration of life at 1 p.m. at 55 Durham Road in Freeport.
