BRUNSWICK — Helen L. Glass, 98, of Brunswick, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at her residence at Sunnybrook Village in Brunswick. She was born in Omer, MI, on March 4, 1917, a daughter of the late Steve and Mary (Kurta) Olex. She grew up in the area and attended local schools there. She spent most of her life in Michigan before moving to Lisbon Falls in 2002 to be with her son, David.

She will always be remembered for her love of knitting and sewing. She made most of her own clothes and enjoyed making blankets and afghans. She also loved to travel.

She is survived by her children, David Provot of Brunswick, Vivian Miller of Cholfont, PA, Albert Provot of Grand Rapids, MI, Allen Provot of London, Ontario and Richard Glass of Suntan Valley, AZ. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her first and second husbands, Normand Provot and George Glass, a son Alvin Provot and her siblings, Agnes, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Barney, Peter, Steve and James.
