BATH — A benefit dinner for Jordon Welliver, a 16-year-old who suffers from neruo blastoma cancer, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at the American Legion hall on Congress Avenue.
Welliver, nephew of Billie Jo and Gene Welliver, has a cancer that affects the nervous system.
The spaghetti dinner/dance/auction, with raffles and door prizes, will run from 5 to 11 p.m. Donations will be graciously accepted at the door for the Jordon Welliver Trust, located at First Federal Savings and Loans on 55 Congress Ave.
The raffle will be for a lobster dinner for eight.
The band “On The Street” will perform. No children should be in the hall after 9.
A bottle drive is ongoing through Sept. 28. All bottles can be dropped off at Hilltop Redemption on Witch Spring Hill in Bath.
