ROCKLAND — London’s National Theatre “NT Live” 2013-14 season of play broadcasts opens at the Strand Theatre, 345 Main St., with “Othello,” a new production of Shakespeare’s celebrated play about the destructive power of jealousy, on Thursday, Sept. 26, with two shows: a live transmission at 2 p.m., and an HD rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
Tickets are on sale for $23 or $15 for students. Contact the Strand for group ticket pricing. NT Live’s season of broadcasts continues Oct. 17 with Kenneth Branagh starring in the title role of “Macbeth.”
