PORTLAND — Independent gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler registered his support for establishment of protective buffer zones outside women’s health clinics at a Portland hearing Tuesday,
Cutler, of Cape Elizabeth, said if elected governor he would ask the Legislature to enact buffer zones around clinics and clinic workers statewide. “It’s a matter of statewide importance,” Cutler told The Portland Press Herald.
