Polling results from a Cumberland County state Senate district show Gov. Paul LePage atop the race for governor, 42-30-21, over U.S. Rep. Michael Michaud and unenrolled Eliot Cutler, respectively.

The poll was conducted Sept. 26-29 by Public Policy Polling and has a margin of error of 4.5 percent. Observers say the district — Baldwin, Casco, Frye Island, Raymond, Standish and Windham — is considered a swing district in Maine.
