BRUNSWICK — Bull Moose has announced plans to expand its current location at 151 Maine St. in Brunswick. It will now occupy the entire first floor of what many refer to as “The Bull Moose Building.”

Bull Moose will use the additional space to expand its selection of books, according to a news release.

The store will remain open during renovations, which will be completed by mid-November.

“Customers had been asking if we were going to carry more books and begin buying them back like some of the other Bull Moose stores, and I’m excited that we can now tell them ‘yes,’” said Bull Moose store manager Jordan Guerette. “I’m also excited to have a bit more space for all the stuff we currently carry — especially pre-owned vinyl.”

The original Bull Moose opened on Middle Street in Brunswick in 1989 and relocated to the Tontine Mall in 1990. The store moved to its current location in 1991 and has expanded three times as additional space became available.
