FREEPORT — Merrymeeting Bay Triad is looking for volunteers to help Nov. 22-24 with staffing the collection site for its Coats for Seniors collection drive at L.L. Bean.
Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts to help collect, sort and bag donated coats. Shifts will start Friday evening and resume 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Merrymeeting Bay Triad, Maine Area Agencies on Aging and L.L. Bean will collect and distribute coats to seniors across Maine. Gently used, adult-sized coats will be collected in the L.L. Bean lobby all weekend and distributed to seniors in need through Maine Area Agencies on Aging and other community agencies.
