LISBON — Children have the opportunity to show off their costumes in a parade at the Lisbon Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 3-5:30 p.m., with an Oct. 28 rain date, at the MTM Center on 18 School St. in Lisbon Falls.
Free activities include a family pumpkin carving contest with cash prizes — see positivechangelisbon.org for details.
There will also be pie eating contests for kids and adults, as well as activities run by local non-profit groups including pumpkin decorating, face painting, connect four, body bumpers, corn hole, costume photo booth and more. RMT Farms of Litchfield will have a visiting emu and alpaca for petting.
“This festival is just one of the many amazing events throughout the year that make my town such a great place to live. I love being a part of this growing and thriving community,” said Lynette Carver of Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls and member of the festival planning team in a written statement.
This annual Harvest Festival is organized by Positive Change Lisbon. Contact positivechangelisbon@gmail.com for more information.
