SACO — The occupants of a mobile home located at the Blue Haven Mobile Home Park off Route 1 in Saco escaped from a fire that destroyed their home tonight.

Deputy Chief Robert Martin said two people fled after fire broke out in their home at 14 Clayton Drive. He did not have their names.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Martin said.

The fire was contained to the trailer and did not threaten other homes in the park. Biddeford, Scarborough and Goodwin Mills fire departments responded to the fire, which was reported around 7:30 p.m.
