A hot dog and bake sale fundraiser will be held for the Global Hydranencyphaly Foundation from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 155 Saco Ave., Old Orchard Beach. In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday. Hydranencyphaly is a cephalic disorder that derives from either damage to or abnormal development of the fetal nervous system in the earliest stages of development in utero.

An open house to recruit new high school-aged volunteers for nationally award-winning Blunt Youth Radio will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. at WMPG, Southern Maine Community Radio, 92 Bedford St., USM Portland campus, during Blunt’s regular live Monday night broadcast. Visitors will have the chance to see the live show, be interviewed on air and enjoy some free pizza and root beer. Find out more about Blunt at bluntradio.org.
