In this polarized political atmosphere, which is not what most voters really want, I feel good about supporting Andrea Boland for Maine State Senate in District 33. Andrea’s concerns and issues come from within her. They’re all connected to her deep-seated respect for life and for what contributes to safe and healthy communities. In her four terms in the Maine Legislature, she was always her own person, challenging other legislators on both sides of the aisle to live up to the best within them. Andrea has demonstrated the inner strength to avoid playing politics at the state level, and the courage and persistence to fight the forces of greed that can generate harmful legislation or cause good legislation to fail. If you want an honest Senator in the next legislative session, someone you can trust to figure out what the motivations are that drive the arguments for or against proposed legislation, and stand up to the ones who would seek only power and advantage at the expense of the public good, join me in voting for Andrea Boland, Democratic candidate for Maine Senate, in November.
