Here is a list of regularly scheduled meetings for area councils, boards of selectmen and school boards; meetings are public.

Acton: Selectmen usually meet at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Town Hall, 35 H Road; this week’s Meeting will be tonight however, at 6 p.m. The school board meets at 6 p.m. the second Tuesday at the school library, 700 Milton Mills Road.

Alfred: Selectmen meet at 4 p.m. Tuesdays at Town Hall, 16 Saco Road; the next meeting is Nov. 8. The RSU 57 School Board usually meets the second and fourth Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Massabesic East building, West Road, Waterboro.

Arundel: Selectmen meet the second and fourth Monday at M.L. Day School, 600 Limerick Road; the next meeting is Nov. 14. The RSU 21 school board usually meets at 7 p.m. the first and fourth Monday at Kennebunk Elementary School, 177 Alewive Road, Kennebunk.

Biddeford: The City Council meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Tuesday at City Hall; the next regular meeting is Nov. 15. The School Committee usually meets the second and fourth Tuesday at Biddeford High School.

Dayton: Selectmen meet at 6 p.m. every other Monday at Dayton Municipal Building, 33 Clark’s Mills Road. The school committee meets the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Dayton Consolidated School, 21 Clarks Mills Road; the next regular meeting is Nov. 16.

Kennebunk: Selectmen usually meet at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday at Town Hall, 1 Summer St.;  the next meeting is Nov. 8. For RSU 21, see Arundel.

Kennebunkport: Selectmen meet at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Thursday at Village Fire Hall, 32 North St.; the next meeting is Nov. 10. For RSU 21, see Arundel. Limerick: Selectmen meet at 7 p.m., Mondays except holidays, when they meet the following day, at Brick Town Hall on Main Street. For RSU 57, see Alfred.

Lyman: Selectmen usually meet at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Monday at Town Hall, 11 South Waterboro Road. The next meeting is tonight, Nov. 7.  For RSU 57, see Alfred.

Newfield: Selectmen meet Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at the Public Safety Building on Route 11. For RSU 57, see Alfred. Old Orchard Beach: The Town Council meets the first and third Tuesday at Town Hall, 1 Portland Ave.; the next meeting is Nov. 15. The RSU 23 School Board meets at 6 p.m. the third Thursday at Town Hall.

Saco: The City Council usually meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Monday at City Hall, 300 Main St.; when the meeting day falls on a holiday, the council meets the following day; the next meeting is tonight, Nov. 7. The school board meets at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesday at City Hall.

Sanford: The City Council meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday at City Hall, 919 Main St.; the next meeting is Nov. 15.  The Sanford School Committee usually meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Monday at City Hall. Shapleigh: Selectmen meet at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Town Hall, 22 Back Road; for RSU 57, see Alfred.

Waterboro: Selectmen usually meet at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday at Town Hall, 24 Townhouse Road; the next meeting is Nov. 22. For RSU 57, see Alfred.

Wells: Selectmen meet at 7 p.m. the first and third Tuesday at Town Hall, 208 Sanford Road; the next meeting is  Nov. 15. The Wells- Ogunquit CSD School Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Monday at the superintendent’s office, 1460 Post Road. York County Commissioners meet at the county office building (former jail) at 149 Jordan Springs Road, Alfred, at 4:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday. The next meeting is Nov. 16.
