SACO — Germaine H. Montambault,
78, of Saco died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice
House in Scarborough.
She was born Aug. 18, 1938 in Vallee
Jonction, P.Q. Canada and was educated there.
On Nov. 5, 1966 she
married Joseph R. Montambault in Montreal and came to Maine with him.
She had been employed at Nike Shoe in Saco, and later at Pine Point
Tourist Court Motel.
Germaine loved gardening,
walking her “granddoggies,” traveling to Canada and spending time
with her family.
She was preceded in death
by Joseph R. “Chief” Montambault, her husband of 38 years, on
April 5, 2005, and by two brothers. Guy and Jean Paul Doyon, and two sisters, Gervaise Frechette and Helene Giguere.
Surviving are her daughter Nancy
Simoneau and her husband Brian and a granddaughter, Lauren
Doughty, all of Biddeford; a sister, Carmen Labbe
of Quebec City; and several nieces and nephews.
There will
be no visiting hours. At the request of the deceased services will be
private.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St.,
Biddeford, ME 04005.
