Pedestrian Safety Forum
scheduled for May 4
WESTBROOK —The city, MaineDOT and the Bicycle Coalition of Maine will address a recent increase in pedestrian-vehicle crashes at a Pedestrian Safety Forum from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Westbrook Middle School.
Residents are encouraged to offer their input on dangerous locations and the habits of pedestrians and motorists. Free reflective safety gear will be offered.
Voter registration
for June 13 elections
WESTBROOK — Mail-in voter registration will be available through Tuesday, May 23. Anyone wishing to register after that date to be elibible to vote in the June 13 municipal elections must register in person.
To register to vote, visit City Hall during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and durng special extended hours on Thursday, June 8, from 5-7 p.m.
