Grant makes for good reading
The Casco Public Library has received 71 children’s books worth $1,052.75 through a grant from The Libri Foundation’s Books for Children program. To apply for this grant the library had to have a sponsoring organization raise up to $350, which The Libri Foundation would match 2:1. The Casco Home School Alliance contracted with Beth Hayden, a teacher and library volunteer, to do their biannual evaluations and enthusiastically agreed to donate their fees to the library. Many thanks to all of you. Your generosity along with the Libri grant has allowed us to expand the children’s collection with some excellent children’s books.
