Season Highlight “Placing fifth of 21 teams at the state meet; Alex Baillargeon won the 400m (51.19) & placed fifth in the triple jump (41′ 9A?1?2″). Erik Born won the triple jump (42′ 7A?1?4″) and placed fourth in the long jump (20′ 1A?1?4″). David Quigley was one of only two boys to place in three individual events – fourth in the high jump (6’0″) and triple jump(40’11A?1?2″) and fifth in the long jump (20′ A?3?4″). Robbie Preston, who won the 300m at the Southwestern Championship, was seventh in the long jump, and John Davis was seventh in the pole vault.”

Coach’s Comment “The talented seniors provided incredible leadership throughout the season. Our small team lacked depth for the regular season, but the boys’ hard work, focus and dedication paid off during the championships as we placed fifth in the very competitive state meet. A list of school records currently does not exist and will be researched, but the boys had many possible school record performances this year, including Alex Baillargeon, 400m (51.19); Expo 400m (53.9), Erik Born, TJ (42’7A?1?4″) and John Davis, PV (12’0″).”

Season Highlight “Sophomore and first year indoor track athlete Amy McIntire qualified for the state meet in the high jump and 400m run where she ran a personal record of 1:06.4. Senior Jill Bernier also qualified for the state meet for the first time in the shot put with a personal record throw of 30-2.5.”

Highlight “The season was full of highlights. For the boys the highlight had to be the stunning sixth-place finish at states with only six swimmers. Ladies had an excellent season punctuated by big-time drops at the Southwesterns meet.”
