Nothing missing

On Sept. 24, at about 10:45 p.m., a Shore Road business reported a burglary. Upon investigation, a hole had been smashed in the glass of the front door, but nothing appeared out of place.

Orphaned bicycle

On Sept. 25, at about 3:30 p.m., an officer met with a resident of the Brentwood Road area regarding a blue 21-speed bike that had been left on the front lawn. The bike was moved to the police station.

Unwelcome guest

On Sept. 25, at about 9:03 p.m., an officer met with a resident of the Shore Road area regarding a person refusing to leave the property. The person was found sleeping in a car on the resident’s property. Arrangements were made to remove the subject for the night.

Successful mediation

On Sept. 26, at about 3:10 p.m., a local business in the Shore Road area reported an individual refused to leave the premises. Two officers arrived to find the situation revolved around a check the clerk refused to cash. A solution was mediated and no charges were pressed.

Mutual harassment

On Sept. 27, at about 6 p.m., an officer met with a resident of the Shore Road area regarding a harassment complaint. After investigation, it appeared that the harassment was mutual and both parties were advised to ignore each other.

Concerned family

On Sept. 27, at about 3:18 a.m., a Shore Road area resident called to report a family member had left the residence under the influence of prescription drugs. An officer located the subject on the Shore Road and found the operator in a fit condition to drive.

Summonses

Sept. 26

Timmy Hanson, 24, of P.O. Box 62, Cumberland, was issued a summons on Route 77 for operating with a suspended registration.

Andrew Renda, 30, of 60 Brackett St., Portland, was issued a summons on Sawyer Road for a seatbelt violation.

Micah Sorensen, 26, of 3 Dean Way, was issued a summons on Route 77 for speeding 61 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Sept. 27

Darleen Nedwell, 39, of 5 South St., was issued a summons on South Street for domestic assault.

Sept. 30

A 15-year-old male, of Black Point Road, Scarborough, was issued a summons on Blueberry Ridge for operating without a license and theft by unauthorized use.

A 17-year-old male, of Brownstone Lane, was issued a summons on Mitchell Road for speeding 40 mph in a 30 mph zone.

A 15-year-old male, of Stony Brook Road, was issued a summons at Cape Elizabeth High School for failure to submit to arrest.

Arrests

Sept. 30

A 15-year-old male, of Stony Brook Road was arrested at the Cape Elizabeth High School on a charge of unauthorized use of property.

Fire and Rescue

The Cape Rescue squad responded to 13 calls between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2. Eight patients were transported to Maine Medical Center, three were transported to Mercy Hospital and two required no transport.

The Cape Fire Department responded to a mutual aid call in South Portland at 8:07 a.m. on Oct. 1, and an activated fire alarm on Ocean House Road at 8:36 a.m. on Oct. 2.
