Library

An assortment of Peanuts memorabilia from the collection of Sarah Farwell will be on display through Feb. 9, 2007 at the Windham Public Library.

Farwell has collected Peanuts memorabilia for as long as she can remember and kept her interest through the years as she learned more about the man behind the artwork: Charles Schulz.

Although Snoopy is her favorite character, she has a full range of characters on exhibit at the library. Some are displayed on vintage pieces and others on modern pieces, and nearly every piece with a story behind it. Peanuts memorabilia such as stuffed toys, cars, books, a snow globe and a telephone are among some of the items on display. Children and Peanuts-lovers will especially want to stop by the library for a look at this wonderful collection. This is also the last week of the display of works by local artist Donna Borelli.
