The Montalvo Corporation, international specialists in industrial web control systems, has named Rolf Olsen, of Raymond, as its vice president of sales.

Olsen comes to the position from many years of sales and marketing experience, including managing international sales representative networks for more than 28 years.

“Rolf will oversee and direct our advertising and marketing, and our sales force in North America, Asia and South America. With his experience working with sales representatives, he is a valuable addition to the Montalvo management team,” said Ed Montalvo.

Olsen recently served four years as director of business development and head of the international representative network for Mega Industries in Maine which specializes in the manufacture of scientific and military electronic equipment. For some 24 years prior to that, he was responsible for the international sales network with Dielectric Communications in Raymond.

Olsen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine in marketing and management. He lives in Raymond with his wife Brenda and their two sons.

The Montalvo Corporation specializes in the analyzing, upgrading and servicing of customer’s web control equipment. Montalvo products include brakes, clutches, electronic tension control devices, load cells, indicators, web guiding equipment and safety chucks. Montalvo is based on Hutcherson Drive in Gorham.
