Here is a sure sign of spring – The Easter Bunny is once again making a celebrity appearance at Haven’s Candies in Windham. Bring the family, take photos, get autographs, and think spring. Hop on over!

The festivities are scheduled for Sunday, April 1, from 1-3 p.m. at Haven’s Candies at the intersection of Route 302 and River Road in The Shops at Sebago.

Easter time is one of Haven’s Candies favorite holidays. It is when tens of thousands of chocolate bunnies make their way from Haven’s candy production areas to the stores. There they join hundreds of other handcrafted treats, ranging from baskets filled with goodies, to cream eggs, to marshmallow peeps, to jelly beans and fruit jellies, and many more. Haven’s Candies also features free samples for you to enjoy.

Another ongoing tradition at Haven’s locations is to give away a massive 3-foot, 30 pound chocolate bunny, Herbert (named after Haven’s Candies founder), with $1,000 in cash hidden inside. There is no purchase necessary to enter, just visit any Haven’s Candies area location before April 7.
