HomeHealth-Visiting Nurses of Southern Maine will begin holding annual flu shot clinics on Wednesday, Oct. 12 throughout Cumberland and York counties.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends all people over 65, anyone over the age of two with a chronic disease (and their caretakers), pregnant women and children between 6 and 23 months old be vaccinated before the start of the flu season which runs from November through January.

There is a fee of $20 for a flu shot. Medicare Part B will be accepted for payment at the clinics, but not private insurance cards. Please bring your Medicare card to the clinic.

Steep Falls Fire Barn – Wednesday, Oct. 12, 9-11 a.m.

Naples Methodist Church – Thursday, Nov. 3, 9-11 a.m.

Gorham, St. Anne’s Church Mealsite – Wednesday, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to noon

Windham Town Gym – Thursday, Nov. 17, 3-5 p.m.

Gorham High School – Monday, Nov. 21, 2-4 p.m.

Casco Senior mealsite – Thursday, Nov. 24, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

All clinics before Oct. 24 are High Risk Clinics.
