A Sebago man reamins in Cumberland County Jail after state probation and parole officers found money, drugs and a loaded firearm at his home July 16.
A routine probation visit from law enforcement officials to the home of Russell Edward Coughlin, 52, of 21 Peabody Pond Road revealed he was dealing cocaine and marijuana, according to Lt. Donald Foss of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Coughlin was arrested at around 8 p.m. by deputies assisting state probation and parole officers in a spot visit of his home. There they found cocaine stored in a tin container, marijuana, cash and two handguns, Foss said.
Foss added that Coughlin was on probation for a drug trafficking conviction. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs. His bail was set at $200,000 property or $100,000 cash.
