A $20,000 reward is now being offered in the case of Coreen Wiese, a 15-year-old Buxton girl missing for 60 days.

A poster on a family’s Web site seeking help offers $10,000 for information that discloses her exact location and another $10,000 that leads to her safe return or a conviction of anyone responsible in her disappearance.

The daughter of Wesley and Cynthia Wiese has been missing since Nov. 8. Her parents reported her missing when she didn’t return home from Bonny Eagle High School that day. The girl was last seen on Route 25 near the bridge spanning the Saco River at the Limington Rapids.

The CBS Morning Show on Jan. 8 featured a news story of the girl’s disappearance after her photo and information was aired during the CBS drama “Without a Trace” Sunday evening. Appearing on the network’s news, the missing girl’s father described the disappearance of his daughter as “an ongoing hole in my heart that I can’t fill.”

The FBI and Maine Warden Service are involved in a massive search for the girl. The lead investigator in the case, Officer Mike Grovo of Buxton police, was also interviewed by CBS and clings to hope the girl is still alive. “I strongly feel she’s out there somewhere,” Grovo told a national audience.

Anyone with information is asked to call Buxton police at 929-6612 or 929-5151.
