Wedding

Lew and Joanne Weatherby, Gray Road, attended the Sept. 2 marriage of their daughter, Kelly, and Eric Chabot, both of Rhode Island. The ceremony and the reception were held at The Oaks, a resort in Somersworth, N.H.

Meeting

The Lake Region Shriners will meet Sept. 19 at 5 p.m. at Charlie Beiggs’ Restaurant. Spouses are invited to attend.

Birthday

Mary Bouchard, Falmouth Road, celebrated her birthday Sept. 8. She enjoyed a gathering with her family.

At Brentwood

Ed Varney, Nash Road, recently spent a week in Maine Medical Center. He was moved to Brentwood Manor in Yarmouth on Sept. 8 where he will stay for 10 days or more. He would enjoy visits and cards.

ATV meeting

Pocahontas meeting

The Swegustagoe Council No. 49 Degree of Pocahontas will meet Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in West Cumberland. There are many members who reside in Windham.

Rebekah meeting

The Rebekah Lodge No. 71 will meet Sept. 20 at the Odd Fellows Hall. They will play beano and refreshments will be served. They also held a reception for their new members: Wendy Miller, Jerry Hansen, Wade Colett, Bannon Greer-Hackett and Rowena Walton.

Hiawatha eeting

On Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. there will be a luncheon for the Hiawatha Council No. 58 at the Redmens Hall in East Sebago. A meeting will follow at 7 p.m. They will have a visitation by the Great Pocahontas, Shirley Donovan.
