Rotary meeting set
Christine Johnson, Westbrook-Gorham Rotary secretary, announced the club’s next meeting will be Tuesday, July 29, in the dining room at Westbrook Regional Vocational Center on Stroudwater Street in Westbrook.
The guest speaker will be the CEO of Girl Scouts of Maine.
The club is seeking volunteers to paint a U.S. map and a Rotary logo at Canal Elementary School in Westbrook. Johnson said it should be a three-day project, but four days is planned, July 17-20, in the event of inclement weather or other issues.
To volunteer, contact Rotary president Kim Carignan at 807-5226 or email soldbykimcarignan@gmail.com.
“This is a big project, and we will need all hands on deck for the map painting,” Johnson said.
She can be reached at 797-3747.
